The Plastics Industry Association’s 2024 Size and Impact Report highlights the U.S. plastics industry’s significant economic contributions, with over one million jobs and $519.1 billion in shipments in 2023. Notably, from 2013 to 2023, plastics manufacturing employment grew at an annual rate of 1.1%, surpassing the overall manufacturing sector’s 0.7% growth during the same period.
